PROFILE
Bowerbird Treasures is a boutique jewellery label operating out of Perth, Western Australia. We create 'One of a Kind' and 'Limited Edition' jewellery pieces from Karean Hill Tribe Silver and semi - precious stones, currently supplying more than fifty stores throughout Australia.
Each piece is designed by Kate Tunney, created from the inspiration she draws from geometry and the symmetry inherent in nature. What began as a few beads bought at a market in Bangkok years ago has led to her finding her creative niche and a great passion for Jewellery making and design.
MATERIALS
Our Jewellery pieces are created from the finest materials gathered from around the globe. The Hill Tribe Silver we use is .95 (95% silver) - a higher silver content than sterling silver. Each bead is handmade by the Karean Hill Tribe people of Burma, Thailand and Laos. All other silver components are .925 Sterling silver. We combine the silver with a vast range of precious and semi precious stones, Swarovski crystal and freshwater pearls. Our jewellery is strung on Soft-Flex or Beadalon wire for strength, flexibility and kink resistance.
